We regularly host activist meetings and harm reduction groups. Past events include Lotería Muppet Christmas Night and trainings on everything from Stop the Bleed to tech security. We're committed to making political education accessible to all. We have a gender affirming clothing closet, a small lending library, and we love giving away free zines and stickers. We're a “third space” – separate from home and work – where people can come together and be themselves. Whether you're looking for radicals to conspire with, local queer community, or just walked in off the street, you've come to the right place.
The Bear Creek Social Center opened its doors in December 2024. We spent our first few months in downtown Medford, identifying our values, hosting events, offering community groups a private space and experimenting with shit. In the summer of 2025, we moved to Talent, OR. If you have an idea, need a space to do a thing, or would like to host an event, let us know.
